Luke 24: When seeing is not believing

“Seeing is believing” is a saying first recorded in 1639 by the Englishman Thomas Fuller. Today we often use a similar expression: “I’ll believe it when I see it.” But as we turn to consider Luke 24 and the resurrection of Jesus Christ, we find that seeing doesn’t necessarily translate to believing.
